Danielle was born and raised in the beautiful Hudson Valley. After nearly twenty years away from her hometown, she returned to her roots and is now living her dream by doing what she truly loves.
Danielle attended both Syracuse University in upstate New York and Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA, where she earned a degree in Industrial Design. At 26, she ventured to the Pacific Northwest when her company in Boston sent her across the country to train a replacement after the company was sold. What was initially meant to be a three-week job turned into a life-changing nine-year adventure, especially as she discovered the beauty of the Pacific Northwest in July, one of the most spectacular months of the year.
In 2004, while living in Seattle, Danielle decided to pursue professional training in a field that felt deeply natural to her: helping people heal. Balancing a full-time design career with her passion for healing, she attended school at night and on weekends, becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist and Professional Bowenwork Practitioner. The West Coast is known for its rich alternative health culture, and Danielle is grateful for the training she received there, excited to now share her knowledge and healing practices with her community in the Hudson Valley.
Since her return, Danielle has expanded her expertise through advanced training in Applied Myoskeletal Therapy, the ARC Method, Animal Communication, Reiki, and she is also certified in the Zone Technique.
Danielle specializes in Bowen Therapy and the Zone Technique. She practices these healing modalities in her private office in Millbrook, NY, with a deep passion for guiding others on their journey to optimal physical and emotional health.
In 2019, Danielle’s friend Deanna asked if she could assist one of her horses using Bowen Therapy after reading about Equine Bowen Therapy, a practice widely known in Australia. Since then, Danielle has volunteered her time at the farm, developing meaningful connections and coming to deeply appreciate the emotional intelligence and sensitivity of horses.
Lucky Orphan Horse Rescue is a forever home for about 50 horses. She finds it incredibly rewarding to offer her healing services to both humans and horses alike, fostering well-being in both.
